This smoothie is packed with dietary fibre, protein, omega 3 and antioxidants. Maca has traditionally been used for endurance and to optimise the hormonal system. It adds a malty flavour to smoothies.
Makes one smoothie
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (I use Almond Breeze)
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds (I use Bioglan)
- 1 teaspoon organic raw Maca powder (I use Loving Earth)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy x
