Do you know how much sugar is in your favourite drink?

We all enjoy the sweetness of our favourite drinks. However the hidden sugar content of some may shock you, with a medium Boost Juice ‘Mango Magic’ Smoothie coming in at a whopping 12.5 tsp per serve and a bottle of Powerade at 7.5 tsp! The recommended daily dietary intake of sugar in Australia is 90 grams (which equates to approx 18 teaspoons of sugar), so be careful when choosing your drink of choice. Plain water is best!
